Shared Inspirations is a really fun and creative endeavor that Gold Country Artist Gallery started in 2015 with any participating artist that was inspired by someone else's art. One's medium type does not matter - if you are a painter and are inspired by someone's photograph or a jeweler and are inspired by a painting, then you simply ask permission of the original artist and then do your own rendition in your medium of the art image selected. The gallery then shows the Shared Inspirations throughout the year at the gallery.
The art in this section is shown to reflect what wonderful and creative inspirational ideas can come from one original image. I have shown the original art and the artist's rendition of the piece. Some inspired me and others were inspired by my work and I have reflected all artists names and websites as available for your reference.

One of the newest Shared Inspirations was just completed by Carlotta Tormey, who is a watercolor painter and a gourd artist. Her inspiration came from two of my India Bengal Tiger photographs taken in Bandhavgard, India. These pieces will be showcased at Gold Country Artist Gallery in August during their Shared Inspirations Month. You can see more of Carlotts'a work on her website www.carlottatormey.com
The photograph below, titled "3 Stripes and You Are Out" was taken in Botswana at a water hole where a family of zebras came to drink. This image inspired Deena Reyes to make her image using scratch board and her's is titled "Zebra Stripe Club".
