In this gallery you will see mostly lion photographs - because for the most part they are doing fairly well in Africa as a species.  Of course, that can change in a heartbeat.  But you will only see a few Bengal tiger photographs because they are not doing as well.  Even though they are the most numerous subspecies of tiger - there is only roughly 2500 left in the wild.  We spent 7 days in a place called Bandhavgarh, India and went out everyday to find tigers and only saw them on two occasions with only a total of 15 minutes of shooting time.  I feel blessed that I saw them and got a few  shots that I really like.
