If you have come to my website, it is likely that you are a lover of animals like I am. I care deeply about how we, as humans, regard our environment and the animals that surround us. I have been blessed to have experienced the many journeys into their worlds and hold them precious in my memories, photographs, & paintings. One of my deepest concerns is that some of these animals will not survive various impacts from their environment and humans long enough for my grandchildren to see them in their natural world. Please enjoy my photography and paintings as you peruse my website and hopefully I have given you a small glimpse into their world and things to think about and places to go for more information should you be inclined to learn more about the well-being of elephants, wolves, polar bears, or wild horses - just to name a few.
"If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. ...When the buffalo are all slaughtered, the wild horses are tamed, the secret corners of the forest heavy with the scent of many men, and the view of the ripe hills blotted by talking wires. Where is the thicket? Gone. Where is the eagle? Gone. The end of living and the beginning of survival."
