Marine mammals are amazing creatures - very curious and intelligent. I loved doing docent duty in California, watching over Harbor Seals during birthing season and experiencing a pup being born on the beach and how mom teaches that pup to survive. Marine & Land Iguanas of the Galapagos vary in color and behavior, but both are very territorial and colored according to their environment. My personal favorite is the humpback whale and loved soft water snorkleing with them in the Silver Bank of the Dominican Republic and being on a small skiff when a 20+ ton humpback whale comes straight out of the water in full breach and moves the water like a tidal wave. They truly are "Gentle Giants."
