Most of the images in this gallery reflect the days I spent with Doug & Sandy Groves, founder of Living with Elephants, in Botswana, (near Stanley's Camp in the Okavango Delta), where they live 24 hours a day with 3 elephants, Morula, Thembi, and Jabu that they saved from culling efforts about 17 years ago. Their foundation is instrumental in relieving conflict and educating humans about how to live with elephants. As you may notice in the images below, I am enthralled with the shapes, forms and textures of an elephant, i.e., their trunks, eyes and/or eye lashes and have tried to depict them as I experienced them.
