Entranceways or doorways to other places are very mysterious to me. They make me wonder what is on the other side and what has gone though the openings over the years.  I am especially intrigued by older, more rustic openings that have seen many years of wear and find myself imagining what the other side looks like.  I believe that is why it is something I like to photograph because it opens different possibilities for different people to see what they want to see.
